About Vic's Heart N Soul

Our owner and head chef—Victor Hickson—has always been passionate about food. He grew up watching his mom cooking in the kitchen, and he's never looked back. Since those days, Victor has graduated from a culinary academy, worked in high-end hotel kitchens, interned at fast-paced restaurants, and volunteered for countless cooking jobs for his church and other worthwhile organizations. Victor and his children additionally give back from the support of their business by feeding local homeless in the neighborhood. Today, after more than 20 years of culinary experience, Victor is proud to return to his roots of simple, tasty, unbeatable comfort food. Our menu is inspired by his mother's home-cooked meals, his African-American heritage, and his passion for enjoying delicious food with loved ones.
